To the OP, I would suggest doing a bit more reading. Sounds like you're in a hurry for something and usually that's how some of the other people get disappointed with what they get. Be prepared to do at least some reading on your watch of choice. At least you've inquired with the TDs they will soon let you know if the watch is available or not, for one reason or another (it's been discontinued or it wasn't repped well enough so only a few were made so they ran out or it wasn't repped at all). Also, be prepared to receive a baptism of sorts if you post here without doing your research. It's a rite of passage, Either you come out of it ready to join the membership or you get chewed out of the forum completely. EVERY person in here has had to do the research to find what they want. There are all kinds of instructions on how to find the watch you want. There is a process to getting a watch without getting ripped off. The links in red which are literally dedicated to new members trying to find their way in the rep world are there to provide the help you seek. The information is excellent, timely, and most important... accurate. What you will NOT find here is a tolerance for folks that feel they are above doing the research to find what they want. The process is simple... 1) Know what watch you want to buy 2) Send a picture to one of the Trusted Dealers... ANY one will do, because they all deal with the same factories. 3) Wait patiently while the TD tries to locate the watch. 4) When the watch is located, follow the TD's instructions and enjoy your watch. 5: If the watch is not located it is not available from ANY dealer, and the untrusted dealer that you will ultimately deal with that claims to be able to get it will take your money and send you nothing OR will take your money and send you something similar. This is because if the TD's cannot get it, it doesn't exist. Pretty simple, right? And ALL that information is in the links that have been provided which for some reason, you lack the attention span to actually read. And yeah, I would tell you all of this to your face. Now, I have a question for you... what makes you feel so entitled that you can waltz in here and tell the members how they should behave? When I first came here, not very long ago, I did a lot of reading, followed the instructions and everything went great, because I respect the process in here. See, these people know what they are talking about, and they have been doing it a long time. They have gone out of their way to develop relationships with dealers that actually CAN be trusted, and when one of the dealers gets out of line they pound that TD into oblivion with a suitable length of rusty rebar. YOU SHOULD WANT THESE PEOPLE ON YOUR SIDE! So, skip the entitled attitude and do what everybody else has had to do... realize that this isn't a place where you can throw a hissy fit when things don't go your way. THIS is a place where respect goes a long way, and you have not yet earned any of it quite yet. Maybe you can turn this around and get on track, or maybe you'll just keep telling people how they should behave... time will tell... but the way things are going, it's not looking good for you. Change the attitude and realize you're not going get what you want if you keep doing things the way you're doing it. I have been doing quite a bit of research on it and believe it or not. i actually read the Noob starting point on this forum, i definitely didnt expect the comments that i got, but i guess i can understand where they are coming from after reading a few of the other Noob questions. i didnt think i was asking anyone to do anything but give some advice or direction. I guess i got the direction after reading the comments. lol i have thick skin and not worried about it. After all we all have the same interest on the forum as far as the hobby goes.
