Cartier tank solo review

Recommended Posts

This is a review that's been a long time coming, I bought this tank with the sole purpose of using it as a formal dress watch, small discreet and to be able to tuck it under a cuff.

First off this is the midsize, it's 27.4 x 34mm, it sounds small but the square shape of it makes it wear

Much larger. Everything about this watch is lovely, the design, the simplicity, the elegance and the way it wears. In my opinion it's perfect dress watch size ( ok 1-2mm bigger would be perfect ) but I've owned a gen santos 100 and in my opinion they are massively too big, even the 33mm one feels funny.

All in all this is a great watch, I think I paid about 200 bucks all in with shipping, I went and then put it on a gen croc strap to really set it off!

My opinion, money well spent, if you're on the fence then go for it, my wrist is 7 inches and it fits fine, much larger and you might have a problem.

The Swiss Ronda Quartz movement inside keeps perfect time as you can imagine, push down crown as per gen
