The Perks of Being A VIP/Supporter

Recommended Posts

Of the many perks (one being the act of easing the ethical/moral burden of knowing you're actually stealing from genuine watchmakers by knowing that you're at least paying for the information on how to do so, you also get neat stuff like this:

IWC_Portugesier.jpg

[iWC Portugieser Chrono Auto]

IWC_Portugesier2.jpg

[Chrono function engaged!]

It's a quartz chrono, but feels and looks like the automatic, and I don't mind the second hand stutter bc the watch makes up for it with that one thing you gotta love about quartzes: no muss, no fuss.

She's a nice little addition to the workwear collection, and all for the low, low price of VIP subscription. As my neighbors in the Great White North would say, "Beauty, eh?"

Perks if you're one of the lucky one out of 30! Haha. Congrats.

Congrats but none of us are stealing from genuine watchmakers in any way shape or form. It's not even illegal to own these repair where I live. Relax.

Why are these being called what they are with a "er" at the end?

Why are these being called what they are with a "er" at the end?

You mean the Support(er) moniker?

You forgot the sex; that's also a great perk of being a VIP/Supporter.

To any non-VIPs reading, Onze manages a brothel out of a converted bus shelter, regular STI testing, antiseptic wipes, etc. Free for VIPs! Mods sometimes moonlight there to supplement their meagre incomes

Actually it's not merely the addition of the "er", but the spelling is changed from Portuguese to Portugieser (or more accurately it's a translation as Portugieser is the German equivalent of Portuguese). The name change to the collection was done by IWC in 2015 although Internally, the Portuguese have also been referred to as Portugieser.

Mysterio is correct - it's just German for Portuguese. https://www.iwc.com/en/watch-collections/portugieser.html

I like saying it the German way bc it makes me sound all worldly and cultured and shit, like, "I do say, that scheisse braten was delicious! Now I could really go for some schwanger ficken."

Sorry, guess I forgot to insert the appropriate sarcasm emoji bc it was a joke. In order for the VIP subscription to help ease any ethical/moral burden for me, I would need to have ethics or morals in the 1st place. :woo:
