Lagger 160 Posted August 7, 2017 Not seen much on the quality of the new shield rep, anyone have one? I've heard it's still using a flat back ad the gen has a thicker movement, but other than that what's it like, is the rivet bracelet like gen, is the dial printing better, I know the rose is poor on the original one, and is the red out yet. I've got a v2 with a full relume that I was thinking about upgrading to the new one, but not sure it's worth it Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Genius 281 Posted August 7, 2017 I honestly wouldn't bother! In the gen world the only thing "better" about the new version is the in house movement. In my opinion every thing else they changed on the watch is worse. the dial layout does not look as good and that rattly rivet bracelet on the new one is a huge downgrade over the excellent bracelet they used to have. If you are getting a rep then you don't get an in house movement so the only benefit of the new one is gone Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
