brang1 3,988 Posted September 6, 2017 look out, we have a leather, i actually do think a black strap makes the colour pop
Marcoman 0 Posted September 6, 2017 Bear in mind that case is a shiny SS rather than brushed SS. I tried on the gen in a local breitling shop the other day and was a bit taken aback by how blingy it was with the matching bracelet...struck me as more of a dress watch than say the seawolf of which I have a couple...rubber strap would "casualise (if that's even a word!)" it alright so maybe that's the better option......not sure about the black leather with the blue face.....just my opinion.... Del 4,436 Posted September 6, 2017 Don't like the black and blue combo tbh. I'd stick with the blue rubber to match the blue dial.

Montyb82 0 Posted September 6, 2017 I'm generally not a huge fan of rubber but IMHO I think it's the nicer looking option here!
brang1 3,988 Posted September 6, 2017 rubber out in front it seems
Nikosaldente 630 Posted September 6, 2017 Blue rubber for me! If you go with leather, go with a Blue one, or if it's Black, go with Blue thread stitching
Monkey_Business 0 Posted September 6, 2017 Haha, rubber then!

JSJ 0 Posted September 6, 2017 The gen Breitling rubber straps are magic. Surprisingly affordable too, even in a rep context.I've never found the rep leather Breitling straps to be worth wearing. I have half a drawer full of the things. So it's rubber from me. Sent from my Swift 2 X using Tapatalk
brang1 3,988 Posted September 7, 2017 looks like overwhelming rubber support
Gussmanca 1 Posted September 7, 2017 Never did like wearing rubbers. It's a vote for the leather from me. I think the black with white stitching actually does a lot to let this watch float right there between casual and dressy. Also, contrary to popular opinion, I think the black strap lets that blue face shine! I'm a proponent of color scheming rather than straight matching. Dendo 93 Posted September 7, 2017 I think the color match is important Secondly I prefer leather to rubber
