RussP 22,176 Posted September 25, 2017 Perfect feedback, but an awful fake. Somebody can chime in anytime and tell me that I'm mistaken : http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-DAYTONA-ROLEX-COSMOGRAPH-RED-FACE-MENS-WRISTWATCH-NOT-WORKING-AS-IS-/132336418542?hash=item1ecfdd7eee:g:w3sAAOSwEWJZw9dr

RussP 22,176 Posted September 25, 2017 Almost like THE Paul Newman story (he gave one to his daughter's boyfriend). https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/paul-newmans-paul-newman-daytona-rolex Maybe she 'borrowed' the storyline............

Rokerite 2,441 Posted September 25, 2017 I don't know about anybody else but nobody has ever given me anything that belonged to a their grandfather, never mind a vintage luxury watch. Everyone on the planet has heard of Rolex, the grandson would quickly google the watch to see what it is was possibly worth then have it valued by an expert. These people are so naive. Unfortunately some others are stupid enough to believe them.

They had been really good to me and I returned it to them as it was my landlords fathers watch, I got a few months rent off for my honesty.

I even wrote directly to her to let her know that it was a poor quality rep, yesterday. (Pointed out the 'tells' to assist) Have also informed EBay of the possibility. Yet, nothing gets done about the auction.................

narikaa 129 Posted September 27, 2017 As I understand it Unless you are the rights holder to the brand in question FeeBay are under no obligation to interfere with an auction just cos you say so
