Bjorns 0 Posted October 24, 2017 I don’t know the story about these panam watches but I have heard stories - were these made for panam pilots?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk BP factory 1675. This one has a 3804b movement which I prefer. 26 minutes ago, Bjorns said: I don’t know the story about these panam watches but I have heard stories - were these made for panam pilots? Yes. markcwl1984 0 Posted October 26, 2017 I am HIGHLY impressed by the aging on the dial! Did the tea and lacquer go on there as well?

holla79 0 Posted February 21, 2018 How did you know the dial would fit in the BP or did you just roll the dice?

I believe it is 27.3mm all day long (but I didn't look at my notes. Anyway yukis fit the rep.
holla79 0 Posted February 22, 2018 Thanks @NCRich Is the yuki dial visibly superior to the raffles dials? I've ordered several raffles dials and they don't look too much different than the yuki dials other than the size difference (27.3 vs 29).
RussP 21,682 Posted February 22, 2018 Another lovely build, Rich. If you ever tire of some of your vintage reps and I have the $$$ to spare, please let me know.

Many of raffles dials are very good. But he doesn't have the selection of dials. Yukis dials are decent, but they fit the case. If the dial doesn't fit you are out of luck. holla79 0 Posted February 23, 2018 That’s what I was thinking. Did you have any trouble getting the yuki hands to fit? They’re very specific on their site about the hands only fitting genuine 1675 movement. Do you think they’d fit on a BP 1675 2813 movement @NCRich?
NCRich 13,714 Posted February 23, 2018 Just now, holla79 said: That’s what I was thinking. Did you have any trouble getting the yuki hands to fit? Just ask them, its cheaper. You can get a small gmt hand and use the other hands that come with the 1675. No problem.
holla79 0 Posted February 23, 2018 Shoot, I’m trying to see if they’ll refund me for the hands. I bought the dial this morning not thinking about it. Thank you for the info! @NCRich
