Is this an Omega 861 Manual Wind? (Lemania 1873)

I wish! It's the more modern (and less expensive ;) ) 1861 although afaik it's basically the same movement and yeah still based on the same lemania

Actually when I started looking for a speedy I wanted a birth year watch (1985) which would have been an 861 but after watching prices for ages ended up buying this one which I was just in the "right place right time" as I saw prices were on the up so had to pounce on a cheap option so got this late '90s model

I just did some digging. 1861 is just a Rhodium plated 861 vs Rose Gold plated. Same movement base: Lemania 1873

Citizen Eagle 7 NH4000. These watches were apparently released at the end of the 80's. The Tudor Hyronaut which was released over a decade later looks  pretty much the same except the Tudor has a better movement and is waterproof :p

Love it in a quirky 80's way.

Thanks Les,

Most, if not ALL of my watches are in pristine condition.

And............I keep them that way.
