Which one should I buy?

Recommended Posts

I want a Tag Heuer Calibre 16 watch, which is available in 2 trusted sellers but with different prices.

Which one should I buy?

http://www.silix-prime.org/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=115_161_192&products_id=1589 (268 dollars)

http://kuvarsit01.com/tag-heuer/carrera/1-1-tag-heuer-carrera-calibre-1887-ss-ss-brown-dial-a7750..-from-v6/ (368 dollars)

Is the same watch bought by the seller in the same factory just with different prices?

Thanks,

Almost certainly not.  The Kuvarsit one specifically says from the V6 "factory" but the Silix one does not specify so is likely not considering the $100 price difference.

You could email silix and ask what factory it comes from, and you could search on here for other clues as to where the so-called best version of this watch comes from. Or you could study the pics and decide if you can spot $100 of a difference and just make your own mind up! They both have A7750 movements and sapphire crystals so if you can't tell the difference after careful examination of the photos then I suspect 99.9% of people won't be able to either. ;)

Allow me to partially do your job for you.

The Kuvarsit one is from V6 factory so maybe not the same watch.

The Silix one does not state what factory made the watch.

Both have same movement  7750

One has black dial - the other brown so not the same watch.

One has numbers - the other has markers at hour positions so not the same watch.

Just buy both already!

That way you will have a spare when you break one after not reading the A7750 user guide

Does it matter in this case? As pointed out by others - they are not even the same watch. Do you want to buy the watch that looks best to you so you enjoy looking at it when you wear it, or are you only wanting to buy a watch based on what factory makes it?

In other watches, faux chronograph means chronograph does not work?

Thanks.

Two different watches so you made your own choice between two models - not supplier or maker

Also did you both compare site pictures against the genuine ???

I'm not saying which but one is very close copy of original whilst the other is nearly a close copy but with less subtle differences.

I'll leave that thought with you.... and to assist see below.

I think the Silix one (http://www.silix-prime.org/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=115_161_192&products_id=1589) is a closer copy than the other one. What you think?

Are there photos of replicas of this watch in this forum?

P.D. Most photos in this forum are with this problem.........

The calibre 16 And 1887 are not the same watch. The 1887 is a super rep according to recent posts probably why there’s a price bump the 16 your looking at might be I’m not sure. I prefer the calibre 16 myself I own a cheaper version of it.

He must have - he's trying to use Photfuckit

He failed on my question. Obviously buys according to the eyes in his wallet.

You missed the date surround???  The inclusion of numbers on the 9 O'clock chrono dial?  The strap being totally different?

Welcome to the world of Replica Watches.

Guide - $100-200 - near as damn it from the other side of the disco floor.

$200-300 - you would get away with it in a smooch at the end of the night.

$300 plus and she'd take it along with your wallet whilst you sleep thinking she was in heaven despite a shit shag.

Sorry, but please give me a direct recommendation to buy the very best replica of the Tag Heuer Carrera Calibre 16 (CV201AK.BA0727 ).

Mr Stubbs

Is someone pulling my leg?

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A BEST REPLICA.  What is BEST today, will be SECOND BEST tomorrow, and most people will not understand WHY.

The fact that you want it with a 7750 speaks volumes.   If you want the most RELIABLE, which to me means the best, get a quartz off DHGate.  :coffee:

If you read the section you should have you will see we don't recommend.

We recommend you read the relative section for new posters and you will then see that all decisions are to you.

I know DHGate is garbage... the problem I see is that most replicas of the Calibre 16 in the trusted dealers sites don't look like the original one... that's why I am asking you for a "direct recommendation" in the trusted dealers...

Also, I have read that 7750 is a so so movement.. I have asked trusted dealers for replicas with Miyota movement, which I think is better but most of them don't have them.
