Moondustesp 136 Posted November 18, 2017 Just got this 1950s Baume & Mercier manual wind stunner. It’s in need of some serious tlc so she is off to see my hero Rolie. It’s in need of a damn good clean and a repolish. Movement will need a check over aswell. Still winds and starts but isn’t keeping the best of time. I am currently looking for a suitable strap and I am leaning towards a genuine brown croc. The newer Baume & Mercier Clifton line is based on a 1950s piece. I am sure it is this one if it’s not it is very similar. Overall when it’s done I think I will have a beautiful watch which I am sure nobody else I bump into will be wearing.
