Deep Blue Daynight TritDiver T-100

After alot of flip flopping back and forth as to which watch would be my last watch purchase of the year "reason and logic" played a role in my purchase.  It was going to be the Steinhart Ocean 44 until Deep Blue posted their sale.

Primary reasons and logic were:

1.  Already spent over 2k this year on watches and that was just one watch; not counting the other 21 purchases :picard: ; grant it a few of those were inexpensive ones from m2m sales.

2. Just did an impulse buy of the Citizen EcoZilla so the timing of that recent buy carried some weight

3. Since I already have several Pepsi divers I was not 100% sure on another.

4. I also have a few black dive watches so I wanted something still a bit different, this "Batman" color scheme fit the bill.

My overall impressions with this watch are pleasing.  It feels good on the wrist. Friction pins made the bracelet adjustment a quick and easy task. The blue sunray dial is awsome especially when the light catches is just right and the tritium tubes are definately something different in my collection.

The only downsides I have were that the bracelet is squeaky.  I will give it the spa treatment and the baby oil should correct that.  The movement is the Seiko NH35 and that is not bad but I kinda would have liked something on the lines of an ETA 2824-2.  The price point made the final decision.  Below are the specs and a few pics.

Great looking watch, especially for $250! How's the crown? Some pics make it look quite big.

Sorry, I had forgot about this.  I had planned on taking a longer look... well it was just a bit longer than I had planned :giggle:.  Anyway I was wearing this last night and remembered.  I guess it can be said that the crown is large but it never really crossed my mind.  I compared it to my other DB watches and the Sea Ram 500 is about the same.  For the money, I have no regrets and I do like it.  Here is a more straight on wrist shot to better show the crown.
