BRANCE 0 Posted January 7, 2018 hello, would someone have a suggestion about how to loose a super tight crown (the top left one for the diving bezel) on a JF V7 ROO Diver? I have no idea why - but it's suddenly as if glued to the case. No chance to move that crown anymore. I tried with some screw loosening oil over a couple of days with no result. I am tempted to open the watch on my own (not yet have I found a watchsmith for reps in my area of Germany). Would I need a crystal remover tool? I have an amateur watchmakers tool kit and less than amateur skills. Any idea how to save me from opening and ruining the watch completely? Many thanks upfront and best regards, B. Socom 0 Posted January 11, 2018 Maybe you can try to put it in a freezer for a while?
BRANCE 0 Posted January 19, 2018 I was actually thinking about that, too. Thank you for your reply. The watch is on its way to China, back to the Steve, who was kind enough to offer free repair. Cheers, B.
