alange 5 Posted January 22, 2018 Just wondering what people's opinion is of these? From reading online it sounds like they're from China, i.e. not really from France. Anyone have experience with build quality though? Value for money (approx. EUR 200). Thinking about getting my cousin (15) one for his birthday in Feb. Thanks in advance for any replies
Xpletiv 16 Posted January 22, 2018 Whom else would make something like that? Seems like a lot of $$. Not for me, sorry.

GingerApple 7,272 Posted January 22, 2018 (edited) Oh, sweet Jesus, my eyes, my eyes!!!!!!!!! That is horrible. Each to their own and all that, but seriously? You're being super generous spending so much on your cousin, but there's got to be nicer stuff you can get him in that price range! I feel queasy.... MetalMickey 179 Posted January 22, 2018 I think they are disgusting @alange but if you must have one, take your pick of generic Chinese skeleton watch brands at Amazon. Prices from about £13 upwards.
TimePeace 0 Posted January 23, 2018 OP, you don’t seem to like your cousin much...Enviado desde mi iPad utilizando Tapatalk
Genius 281 Posted January 23, 2018 I used the same skeleton movement in a Pam homage build, movement was about £40, all in the build was around half the price of your Davis and as you get to pick all the parts you can get a more personalised end result
alange 5 Posted January 23, 2018 ... point taken chaps. Thanks. Any specific brands in the same price range (or less) that are value for money? I'm guessing I could get him a nice Seiko for that. About the money, I'll be sending it from my side of the family, not just from me (not got €200 to splash on him lol). Thanks and apologies for my ignorance
