jyavy 0 Posted February 3, 2018 Hey folks! I've become really enamoured with the Seamaster Master 300, but am having an impossible time finding one. I have, however, got a line on a Spectre model. I'd be happy with it, but I detest the lollipop second hand... Also, the consistent feedback is that the second hand, being top heavy, has a tendency to skip (or something like this). I've seen replacement hands on eBay from the regular Master 300 Co-Ax model and wonder how realistic it would be to take this thing apart and replace that second hand... Would it solve the stuttering problem? Am I being overly ambitious? Is it simply impossible? Would really love any feedback... Thanks a lot!
Robert11 0 Posted February 3, 2018 If it stutters, it’s gonna stutter. I doubt replacing the second hand will make a difference. It’s the movement. There’s a lot of variability from one copy to the next. I have one with the lollipop second hand and no visible stutter. Sent from my satellite phone.
