Loose rotor fix.

Recommended Posts

Hey mates. I have a Pam 682 and the rotor is loose. It was spinning like crazy but working fine. Until today that I notice it stopped cause the hour wasn't right. I want to know how I can fix it.

That spin looks normal. If it’s not winding there’s some internal problem.

Btw, who’s the maker? Is it ZF?

I agree, it winds in one direction only, like 7750s for example. Infact it spins free only in anticlockwise direction.

When you wind it by hand, does the rotor spin?

I have a cheap 21j that does the exact same thing, the rotor isn't heavy enough sometime to wind it correctly, most of the time it's totally fine, but if I don't move much in the day it can result in bad power reserve, but nothing is broken in it, just a to light rotor (spin only in one direction too).

My 7750 spin like crazy in one direction only (as supposed) but since the rotor is a lot heavier, I don't have any PR issue.
