Is this Tag a super rep?

Hi all,

I've done a fair amount of reading about TDs and have had a look at the super rep list. Now my question is, is the attached watch the super rep model as the list did not specify exactly the model.

If it isn't where can I find one, also I've heard that there are reps with the same mofement as the gen, is this the case with the attached watch.

That looks pretty good. The one on the list is probably the older one though. The gen has either an ETA 2824 or a Sellita SW200.

Yeah, unfortunately the list does not specify the exact watch in question. The ones with the as per gen movement were released in 2014, compared to the latest one released just last year. I have no comparisons to quote  as Tags aren't my thing. Here are the 2824 and Sellita SW200 movement versions on Andrew's site.

Sellita SW200 is a swiss clone of ETA 2824. The watch is sold with Asian 2824, so they look pretty much the same.

I have some watches with the Sellita and plenty with the A2824. Honestly, for a rep, especially one with a closed caseback, I'd save the money and go with the Asian, which is solid and reliable.

I'm no big Tag fan but the watch looks fine to me. I've nothing against Andrew (Trusty) but I'd check Toro too.
