What's wrong with the 15400?

OK I know going by the super rep list is subjective but I'll admit I've been following it. I notice that the 15400 is a watch that many owns but it isn't even listed as first class "officially". Is there just a lot of flaws with it? Those v3 ones look good.

Since the AP 15400 rep is an open caseback movement, it is very difficult to become super-rep or even first-class.

The movement has many tell tell.

Yeah, it's the movement.

Nevertheless if you only consider the rest it's a nearly super rep.

A microdrop of Moebius HP 1300 in the rotor bearing and it will be silent as all the others...

Now that I think about it, the HBB is open caseback and considered super rep.. But then again it isn't super noisy lol.

Hi, I’m quite new to the forum, can someone please direct me to the super rep list?

With Miyotas it's also a matter of luck IMO, have two of them and they are very quiet, certainly not comparable to the noise produced by any 7750...
