smooney 0 Posted March 4, 2018 I have a few decent reps and my baby is an Oris Aquis small second hand but decided I liked the look of the Hamilton Khaki Air Race when I seen it in my local beaver brooks. Tried it on is store and at 42mm it is a nice watch on the wrist. £735 was a little steep after purchasing the Oris back in January. But after a little research and online hunting I found an air race for $550 so got a friend from Houston to buy me one and had her bring it home when she recently came home for a visit so no shipping costs. Anyway the Watch is really nice 42mm and the sapphire crystal is stunning. Not sure if I would be happy to pay £735 but really over the moon at £390 inc international two year warranty. Going to buy dark blue leather strap for summer, or decent black with blue stitching. Most of my reps are on SS bracelets. Some spec The watch has a sapphire crystal caseback revealing the H-10 calibre movement. The caseback is printed with graphic motifs of the Red Bull Air Race or Team Hamilton. The H-10 movement is the self-winding ETA Powermatic 80, used in many Swatch Group watches, such as pieces by Tissot and Certina as well as by Hamilton. The Powermatic 80, ETA CO7.111, achieves 80 hours power reserve. And pics. Really nice watch at a great price
NFleischer 4,350 Posted March 8, 2018 Congrats on the new gen. Interesting dial, and the Powermatic 80 is a very cool movement.
