J!m 289 Posted April 1, 2018 (edited) gen insert on top of my rep one... Depending on the era, they do tend to be “royal blue” or a bit purple. But also note the dial color: I notice the rep dials tend to replicate the service dials, which are a lighter blue. Originals were a dark navy blue and all suffered from “rot”; mine included. ( if you zoom in you can see the bumps on the dial) I actually bought this dial as a black dial because the seller didn’t realize only the blue ones rot.
