I’ve been looking into the AP watches and saw the frosted gold style which looked pretty cool but couldn’t find anything about the comparison of the rep vs gen frosted gold. I’d hate to get a frosted gold AP and have the “frosted gold” look be a dead give away because of how bad the frosted gold quality is. So if you guys know anything about the rep frosted gold look please tell me if it’s worth or if I should just go with a regular AP in stainless steel or whatever thanks. First I was pretty sceptic about how the watch would be done, considering that it wasn't an expensive one (a2813 decorated to AP calibre a3120). Ordered it to see how it looks in real life. I must say I was pretty inpressed by the frosted execution quality. You want my modest opinion?: AP frosted gold SS are worth the money you pay to TD to get a decent AP frosted gold replica, which gen cost 20k and more. But I can't tell you about frosted gold RG version. I' ve tried to order it 2x in the last months, but it was out of stock.
