I've been wearing it all day and can hardly keep my eyes off it ( except when a lovely Spanish lady walks past perhaps ) - the quality is top notch and it looks like a gen, pure and simple. To be honest, I don't wear my watches for more than a day or two at a time before changing to another one (I cycle through them all in a random manner every couple of weeks!) so I can't give a definitive statement on the rubber strap.
