physique 0 Posted July 17, 2012 Is one more "authentic" then the other? All the real AP ROO's I have looked at recently have the sec @12. Was the sec @9 on older versions?
RichardMiami 4 Posted July 17, 2012 Just google it..,.these are all gens, and note how the subdials are in different positions? Google the exact model you are interested in, then make sure that you are looking at Gen sites not Rep sites.
physique 0 Posted July 17, 2012 Thanks All the gens I found of the particular model I want have the sec @ 12. But one of the trusted Rep dealers had that model with the sec @ 9. So I was just wondering if this rep was based on an older gen, that had a different dial configuration. This is the gen I was looking at
RichardMiami 4 Posted July 17, 2012 much better physique... we can now see what you are looking for. My best suggestion is to send that pic to a few of the Trusted Dealers - email it to WatchInternational and Marvelous Replica... if the rep exists, they will find it for you. Be sure to guide them to the sub-dial arrangement you are looking for.,
SamGold 1 Posted July 17, 2012 are the sec@9 movement not more reliable? .
ROLIE 46 Posted July 17, 2012 yes they are as the chinese havent modified the movement to run at 12 the natural config for a A7750 is 6/9/12 if you stick with secs at 9 you should have no problems really .
Cyril_Clunge 0 Posted July 17, 2012 The newer AP sec@12 reps do have a modified movement with an extra jewel.
NFleischer 4,355 Posted July 18, 2012 The APROO with sec @12 can be problematic, but not nearly as bad as the sec @6- like the Daytona. The older APROO's had sec @9 but are not nearly as good looking reps as the Noob ones with sec @12. They are probably more reliable as far as function goes I bet. Sec @9 is the natural configuration for the 7750, any change means more Chinese gears and not enough jewels.
jeffw69 0 Posted July 18, 2012 The newest versions of sec@ 12 are fine. Extra jewels added.
Mystery Shopper 5,887 Posted July 18, 2012 I bought this one from a PWC 'lot' a couple of years ago but I haven't seen it with white subdials.
physique 0 Posted July 18, 2012 ^ Beautiful watch ScottM. No problems for you with your sec@12 model? I've been contemplating the black subdials or white subdials, that's my last decision to make. And thanks again for the info regarding the newer reps with sec @12 vs sec@
physique 0 Posted July 18, 2012 So I've found the exact watch I'm looking for at both Marvellous & Toro. The price difference is negligible with Toro being $20 more. I've read reviews on both, and they both seem to be great dealers. Any personal experiences that would push you in the direction of one versus the other? jeffw69 0 Posted July 18, 2012 I personally have always gone with Toro. He definitely knows his APs.

Del 4,459 Posted July 18, 2012 I bought my AP Safari from MR with no problems and excellent service. I've also bought quite a few watches from Toro recently and have had excellent service too.
jeffw69 0 Posted July 18, 2012 what I meant before (sorry), was that Toro Bravo brought us the custom AP ROO Montauk Highway and he is working on the Pride of Argentina AP ROO now too. He knows his stuff regarding correct coloring on the dials and does really excellent QC.
physique 0 Posted July 18, 2012 Awesome. Placing my first order (probably of many to come) with Toro. Excited. Thanks again for everyone's help & feedback. I just cashed in the World Series of Poker Main event, but didn't win the 1st prize of 8.7million, so it's still reps for me for another year.
