Amazing story so far.

 

Do you mind me asking a question? Are you sending the parts away for the shot blast finish or doing it yourself? I have a watch that has a shot blasted finish but its not very durable - your finish seems much rougher and less likely to mark. I am pondering if its possible to have my watch either polished to remove the shot blast finish to go back to plain stainless steel or if its possible to have it done like your finish. See pic below:-

Stunning. No other words can describe this build. The dedication and attention to detail. The only thing you'll need is a gen movement and no AD would know the different inside and outside the case. Just WOW.

here are a few more pics ..as the non rep case screws arrived today so I thought id post a few pics .. with the gen strap attached end links modded .... just waiting for the ti colour plating .. should be done this week !! (NOTE) in pics just the standard colour on the media blasted at the moment !! and dial mod work in progress !!

just back from the plater .. and pretty much the final colour on the plating now maybe 1 or 2 shades lighter if not its saying the same .. plated in Ti matt colour effect on the left

UPDATE: everything is moving slowly but moving I aim to deliver all mods mentioned on my opening thread .. sub dial mod a sneak pre-view .. of what's to come !! not final colours

finally back from the plater as they were on holiday all part you see have been plated then refinished to the correct ti colouring .. and blackened serial and limited number so totally visible now after the media blasting !!.. now all exterior parts are finished ... just the dial mod left which is in progress ..!!

all media blasted and plated parts installed .... correct colour match to the gen ..!! its really coming together now ... finger crossed should have some sample dial images this week !!
