Ya u caught me I switched it ...NOT! This is my passion my determination, I love a challenge...I actually wasn't expecting it to come out as good as it did but I really took my time on this piece , I can't say I made any money as I only charged 35 bucks to do this...i think i deserved more than that ...what do u guys think? Might as well just done it for free huh!

This was a vintage gp case I did.. This watch was probably the most beat up one I have ever probably come across...if this piece can't convince any of you to send me tour watches I don't know what else would!!!!

Great work!

I have an early Tag Heuer that has a very (well, not as bad as that GP) beat case that was my first 'good' watch. About 12 years of not taking it off for ANYTHING had taken it's toll.

It needs the movement rebuilt (Eta 555.232) and the case re-finished; which is a bead blasted finish from what I can tell (or at least it was). Since you work in a shop, I'm guessing the mechanical work is not a problem for you or someone else there...

Can you do a blasted finish too? The bezel ring is polished (again, WAS) and I'd like a new bezel insert too. I'd love to get the original bracelet, but it was a Heuer (pre-tag) bracelet and stupid expensive now if you even find one... I have it on a non-branded President bracelet and I'd like to remove the round button that replaces a crown on a gen bracelet, and polish that link so it looks totally seamless since I'll never have the right bracelet. This one is actually very close in link size and shape to the original. The original was totally blasted, but I like the polished center link look. I'd like the outer links blasted like the case and leave the center polished- should be cool looking that way...

Feel free to PM me with your e-mail and I'll send you some pics if you think you and the rest of the crew there can handle it, and I can afford it!

EDIT_ I do have the remains of the original bracelet. Can you rebuild it? If so, I definately want a quote on THAT! But, be warned, it is in ROUGH shape...

I'm surprised people are not queueing to have their watches re-polished mate.

Maybe to promote your work more, shoot some videos, and more photos of projects/work?

Is this kind of polishing something someone can DIY? I have a rep that is something like 12 years old, works fine, but has definitely seen better days and I would love to restore it's shine and luster.

There us a guide over at RWI

http://www.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/rolex-case-polishing-37430.html

I used it after I re-shaped the crown guards on my 1675 GMT.

Got the specialist fine grade polishing sheets from Cousins UK and bought a bench grinder with polishing conversion kit. Takes a bit of time, but if your watch has some deep scratches and scuffs then it's the only way!

I look at the work and I am amazed at the change in the watches. As good as new. Then I wonder what idiot pays that for a watch to scratch the crap out it? If I owned a gen panerai I would do everything to keep it pristine not scratch the buggery out of it.

Ive got a gen Rolex that needs polishing but I wouldn't feel comfortable sending it across the country.

I must say though, your work is impressive!

Mate members have sent WP watches from the EU without issue. Send it FEDEX and insure it, no problem. Trust me it's worth it the guy is good.

PS: Please PM me a larger resolution copy of your avatar, it's a classic!
