YM 2836-2 Date Will not Change

I recently pikced up a Rolex YM with a 2836-2. It keeps good time and seems to be ok overall. However, the date will not change as it should at midnight or any other time of the day. I can hear a slight click at appx. 12 midnight...date does not click over. The date can be changed via the stem (pulled out to the date set position).

 

Any thoughts on the cause and possible solution?

Hmm, not without looking at it but the problem must be in the gear train between the takeoff in the hands train and where the stem ajust comes in. That's only a gear or two.
