diegosaenz 0 Posted November 4, 2012 I really think as long as you have the wrist for it. The largest I've gone with is 50mm and I wouldn't go bigger.
Luthier 1 Posted November 4, 2012 Should I comment? Like you normally ask permission first.........! Permission??? Me??? No. Opinion? Almost always. :P
rickdangerous 0 Posted November 4, 2012 Love them 47+mm watches. PAM 127, 217, SA, U-Boats, ... you name it. 44mm is the bare minimum and already feels small.
myaz 3 Posted November 4, 2012 Large watches are trendy at the present time. What happened is that you have become habituated to them so they no longer look out of proportion. Surely as trends have come and gone, bell bottom pants, mutton chops, nehru jackets, mullets and all, the day will come when the really huge ones will look dated. Before you start yelling, that doesn't include PAMs, OK?
sardonix 1 Posted November 4, 2012 44mm is the absolute max, bigger only if you have a girl with boobs inplants.
onzenuub 307 Posted November 4, 2012 44mm is the absolute max, bigger only if you have a girl with boobs inplants. Do they look bigger at the wrist too? :P

rhoffer 0 Posted November 4, 2012 I love large watches. Most of mine fall in 44mm-52mm. my gen 35 year old Rolex GMT with a Jubalee band really seems small these days.
diplosa 0 Posted November 5, 2012 What about large and extremely heavy? WARNING INVICTA HATERS LOOK AWAY NOW.............. Invicta Noma IV Chrono Model 0960 Shot Blast Finish - 50mm @ 412 grams I removed the image, cuz it's painful to look at.... This shit weights half of a kilo! I may buy two and let my wife use it as free weight when she works out.
Dendo 93 Posted November 5, 2012 187 can be a big watch but the 1001 and the 4000 are always big watches
Dendo 93 Posted November 5, 2012 And for some wrists the DSSD is big
Dendo 93 Posted November 5, 2012 But even on big wrists some small thin watches can still be classy IMHO
omni 6 Posted November 5, 2012 Speaking of Luthier's 8 1/2 inch wrist, that's his hairy arm on top and my old-age spotted 7 1/2 inch wrist on bottom of this pic. when we met in Santa Monica 3 years ago. The Glycine is 53mm but is quite thin so it doesn't feel as big as it looks. I like 48mm sport types usually but have several 36mm classic dress styles that look perfect on my wrist. anamari 0 Posted November 6, 2012 No offence intended, but makes me question the size of their dicks. And ego. And confidence. It would be only first impression though...I am sure once I spoke to you and realized how intelligent, caring, passionate, down to earth you really are, the size of the watch would not matter :ahw: . I used to love oversized watches when I was 15...

A horse size one is useless unless your shagging a mare...in a stable. Bust yes, pics please
Bash64 17 Posted November 6, 2012 I have few big ones and like them all. 44mm seems pretty normal now. I recently received a vintage Russian Vostok and it measures out at 38mm. With an 18mm strap, this feels a little too small for me (I feel like I am wearing my kid's watch). 40mm sub size is as low as I think I'll go at this point.
