PayPal. Alertpay I don't like. Rips me off with fees.

I'll go with PayPal!

I have tried Western Union once (online), and got hacked right after. Some guy from Russia made transfers and took $900,- from my account (I am in the Netherlands). So I'm not going to use WU anymore..

Alertpay, Paypal, WU or direct debit (eft). Usually the TD tells me what they prefer. Never had a problem.

For the European Union watchaholics, I think that the less bad is PP.

WU and MG are less reliable, slower and more complicated, and more expensive for the buyer.

My last purchase with VISA; total cost, with currency exchange and bank commission is about 5%... too expensive

Bank Transfer ... NEVER!

If there are problems with the operation, WU, MG and VISA are pure torture.

A reputable seller who accepts Paypal is my first choice to buy.

Cheers from Spain

Pretty well the same as Scott, but Hold on the WU.......never been a fan....too big a pain.

At the end of the day, some financial institution will rip you off / make money out of you.

It all washes up the same.

Paypal has worked like a champ for me, but bank transfers have been smooth, too. I probably wouldn't do them overseas, but in CONUS they work well and no fees (at least from my bank).

Paypal wins with 51 votes. Which, sadly, means nothing as paypal is gradually disappearing from this hobby whether we like it or not.

Poll now removed to prevent unnecessary bumping of an older thread.
