qtrade 0 Posted November 7, 2012 (edited) I bought a Hublot Big Bang and a Big Bang King watches from http:// yamazons.com. they sent totally different watches than what they show in their photos. When I tried to return as per their own posted terms, they said they were going to charge me $77 in shipping an a $192 duty fee!!! What a bunch of scammers. I told them I would only pay $35 as per their posted terms, and requested the return address info. After asking for the address 3 times with no further responses, I issued a charge back on my Visa. I made screen shots of their terms and the photos of the watches, so I can prove their deception to Visa if need be. Thank god for Visa. That why I never pay with Western union or wire. Thanks to this forum which I just found today, I have ordered a Hublot for one of the trusted sellers. Little pricier but a great looking watch. Cheers, Chris Edited November 7, 2012 by qtrade
Luthier 1 Posted November 7, 2012 And what will you tell to Visa? That you paid for counterfeit goods? Are you totally stupid?
fatarms 7,776 Posted November 7, 2012 Sorry to hear that, dude. Stick with the trusted dealers here. Also, I'm not sure that Visa will be willing to reimburse you for illegal goods, but it's worth a try

houndoggie 58 Posted November 7, 2012 qtrade.. that is pretty much the same story for me. Ordered a submariner rep from a scam site (thank god is was only $135) and received a POS toy. I didn't do the chargeback thing, owing it to a learning experience. this forum is where you want to be.

Balad1 0 Posted November 7, 2012 Sorry you got the shaft Bro. We see and hear a lot of your situation so don't think we don't care, it's just frustrating for all of us. The good part is you found RWG and we'll guide you through the process now. PS: On a positive note, at least you weren't hit as hard as some of us have been. Doubled 0 Posted November 7, 2012 Rule of thumb : if you put the site address through an Anagram generator and two of the words it generates are "SCAM MANY" !! Don't buy !!!
