Does anyone out there know where I can find some printable dial designs/templates as I've bought some decal paper to have a mess around with a la Spboudart style for my Hamilton 917 project. Something similar to this dial, I have CAD 2007 on my pc but bugger me it's hard to get my head around it... CAD systems are always a steep learning curve. You'd do a lot better with something like Illustrator, Photoshop or one of the clones of either (Corel, PSP etc...). When I have time to build models (not often these days), I tend to produce decals in illustrator - make it easy to get the transparent background needed for decal printing.
