Xyphis 0 Posted December 25, 2008 Bought a replacement SeaDweller insert from WatchMaterial (Thank you for the advice, AllergyDoc ) when I lost the pearl. Although the first one had to be sent back (offset pearl on chevron) the second one looked great. Here is my question/dilemma: Other sites states that you remove the old bezel, clean off the glue, reglue it with "Glue-X" after sanding it down to fit. OK, I started sanding it, went to test-fit it in the bezel and SNAP! it sort of stuck in. Can't twist or move it at all. Is this OK in a V1 SSD? Is there a lip to the bezel and this just popped in and is the right size to not need glue? Or should I remove it, reglue it and put it back. I honestly have no idea how to remove it other than to pop the whole bezel off, a process that does not sound too inviting. Thanx in advance.
AllergyDoc 40 Posted December 25, 2008 I think you're okay. Demsey said his snapped in as well. Pretty nice, and easy, mod, eh?
