Hard to tell where the HV is on the pic, but I think it's too low. Not too bad looking, though.

There's always here, http://www.ofrei.com/page1182.html#20294 , but it'd probably work out cheaper to buy a used gen.

I'm not 100% certain but I think the main difference between a 2254.50.00 case (black insert) and 2531.80.00 (blue insert) is a 0.5mm difference in diameter, the overall shape is similar and lug sizes are the same if memory serves...

Down the bowling alley for a birthday and felt in a PAM mood ;)

I really need to get my decent strap on this but need to pull my finger out and order a strap punch so I can put a hole in it!

Oh, and I need to get the PAM guard I got off Jackson onto it but I need to stop it being floppy! :D lol

Damn. I've yet to see a rep of that SMP with the correct He valve position.

Not the same model, but TTK used to sell them with and without the correct HE valve placement, way back 6 years ago in 2004, I never got round to buying one, but from what I remember on TRC they were regarded in very high esteem and not very expensive I think, they came with Asian 21j movements, but he sourced ETA 2824-2's and swapped out on customer requirement.

TTK'S PHOTOS / NOT MINE.

WITH CORRECT HE VALVE PLACEMENT (I THINK)

P.S. I think he also did bezel insert and dial swap-outs because the cases were essentiall;y the same, so if you wanted the balck dial you could swap over, but not 100% certain on that, perhaps some others may recall.

Where'd you get that one? Is it a gen?

Looks VERY gen to me!!!!

[or it's the best 1:1, Swiss Made, AAAAA, blah, blah blah....... - nope, gotta be gen]

Even though the HE looks wrong to me, the arm length and pearl are great for a 2254 rep.

[one interesting tell I haven't seen much on the 2254 reps is the white outline on the date]

I wet my pants over the blue dial version, the blue dial and polished bezel make it look sumptuous ( is that a word ?, or should it be scrumptious), whatever, it's luvverly!
