About 10 minutes at this point. That's slow.

Look carefully it already is an overlay on an overlay... I'll have to remove one I think.

You are the man...I really want to do this to my Sub C from WI (and a relume), but this scares the bejesus out of me. Love the pics, maybe I will get a cheapie from Silix to try this on. Thanks for the tutorial!!

Going to remove it by that screw and watch for flying objects. I think that's what I read yesterday.

I would be nearly done if it wasn't a double stack overlay already... Bah.

Great work mate, and informative photos as usual, thanks for sharing.

I was under the impression, to remove the date wheel, you didn't need to remove anything, just a spring loaded release?

Dropped screws and parts are most time consuming. Be gentle with the tweezers.

Reseated.

Technically. I guess I can partially twist the date wheel and pull up. There is a notch the teeth go in and the slide under a lip. It's between the two circles I put in that pic.

Now comes GS Hypo, some luck and patience. The TC DWO has an alignment marker at 30.

Great to follow. Topics like this will give me something to refer to when I finally work up the courage to perform work like this.

Snap the dial feet "claws" back in (few pics back).

How tired am I?

Why won't the movement holder tighten?!

Oh, I'm turning the crown.
