Amazing how many different colors these black Astron dials can look like. Yours has a little purple in that shot. Mine says hi, giving it a little fuel. But, other than turning DST on or off, it really takes care of itself. There's no fiddling with anything. Pick it up, put it on, and you're good to go. I would highly recommend it to anyone. The quality is so polished and attention to detail is amazing. The main success for me is that it brings me a lot of joy wearing it! Like you had mentioned, the dial is something else. Depending on how light is hitting it can look an array of different color other than its defined black. It has exceeded my expectations.
