AB51 0 Posted October 9, 2013 I fancy one of these but I don't know which version to buy. I've found 2 versions: this one from Silix at $225 http://silix-prime.so/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=115_144_184&products_id=1475 and this one http://www.torobravos2013.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=56_133&product_id=196 from Toro at $318. Does anyone own either or both of these? The cheaper one seems more true in appearance to the gen which, from pictures I've seen, doesn't have lumed numerals and lume dots either side of the triangle at 12 o'clock and has more rectangular markers at the quarter hours similar to the cheaper rep. Which one would you go for and why? Why is the dearer one $100 more expensive?
Undinist 20 Posted July 28, 2017 *Necrobump* Saw a 3706-03 at a dealer's site - a TD at RWI but not here, so I suppose I shouldn't link to it? Here's the gen at watchbase http://watchbase.com/iwc/pilot/iw3706-03. I love it because it's got stick hands - I really dislike the alpha hands which are on all the modern IWC pilot watches. I used to have a gen 3713 Doppel which had stick hands and I would love a single chrono rep which looks like it. I've searched everywhere for a pilot rep with stick hands and this is the only one I've found. I don't know whether it's still available, I'm waiting for a reply from the dealer. It's described as having a fully functional 7750 chrono.
