Omega 42mm Pumpkin (DG4813)

Recommended Posts

LightGeek

DG4813 high beat movement, WI special. I regret selling my original one since it had the better spaced Omega logo and was cheaper (~$143). The new ones have the logo too close and start at $150. Either way, this one is for keeps... Unless they release one with a fixed up logo of course!

Pumpkin. LightGeeks choice.

I bought the same watch for $148 from Toro.

I think it will be just fine for my first PO.

And it also has the logo too close.

Good looking watch. If you wear it do you look like Clooney or just some prick wearing an Omega? Just wondering.

It seems the price has gone up again, now $158 http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=28921

Is this 42mm Ultimate PO the same as the 42mm V5 PO seen here:

http://www.trwatch.com/product_info.php?cPath=58&products_id=1102 (a TD on RWI)

I would really like to get a 42mm Pumpkin PO, but not if all the current versions have the crown/stem problems and logo placement too-low.

Here is mine:

DG4813 is really nice, unlike DG2813, it is smooth. And everything works more smoothly than my rough "Swiss" and Asian movements from BP factory.

Only flaw I found is that the bezel is too much to the left, altough 1-15 markers are aligned quite well.

Orange color is nothing special, it is more brown under normal conditions, it only turns orange if you angle the watch towards the light.

This is my first watch with AR glass, and altough nice, it is not something that I really need.

Bracelet is superb for a rep, practically gen quality. It is polished at the sides and nicely rounded at the edges.

It is very hard to resize, I had to use two of my pin remover tools, at first Chinese one with small push pin and then the Swiss A&F with large push pin, to drive the bracelet pin completely out.

Watch weighs 192g and 175g resized with minus 4 links. It is just too heavy for my puny 6.3" wrist. And I guess Aqua Terra 41.5mm is my Omega watch.

It is also very high, exactly 15.0mm. 13.5mm is the most I can take.

To recap, I think this is the rep that brings most bang for the buck, but you really need at least 7.0" wrist.

Actually, more watches could use this movement, in my experience it is even better than Asian or Swiss ETA which cost $100-170 more.

Hi Guys,

Is the lettering beside monogram is raised or printed on the dial? for Example "OMEGA" I am just wondering. Because I believe Gen has raised OMEGA written on dial.

7" minimum...Bah! My 6.5 incher will prove you wrong...I hope.

I have one of these on the way. Should I get a gen crown and tube on the way too?

Looks like it given the "too shiny" bezel. I get lots of compliments with it on... namely... "Oh wow! An orange watch, looks great!"

I think on CrPO it's more matte. I actually don't own any of these, but this is more shiny. Not so shiny as LMPO actually

I don't THINK the orange is ceramic. (I have the orange one on order, myself). Maybe someone else can confirm.
