jcglobal 0 Posted December 29, 2013 An electron microscopic inspection is called-for in order to point out any further flaws, such as any infinitesimal mis-alignment of some of the atoms and molecules, in the lattice structure of the paint that is actually on the dial. Daywatch 4 Posted December 29, 2013 Does it still sing to Your heart? If not: "Go buy a Gen"..... -- Ohhh -- but Gen´s suck also! Just look at this: New 5711 - crooked seconds hand Date: Dec 23, 2013,05:24 AM http://patek.watchpr...d-seconds-hand/ This is the new 20.000 Euro Gen (crooked seconds hand): This below is the 5711 I recently got in a m2m sale here on RWG for, let´s say a fraction of the cost: Haha, just saw that even the date matches the gen, just my second hand looks even better:) For the cost I´ll rather take mine and maybe your Airking is also the best:) (disregarding that biggest flaw ever seen on a rep). Odyseus 1 Posted December 29, 2013 Loupe, and reps do not work well together lol. Microscopes are even worse!! You see scratches/swirls on dials and hands, dust, missing paint, excess glue, excess lume etc, etc

LightGeek 25 Posted December 29, 2013 Oh damn I though the white Air-King was immune but look at this crap. There's extra ink spilling past the "N" in PRECISION.
BigsCG 0 Posted December 30, 2013 Clearly that is photoshopped and you are trying to ruin the reputation of the quality pieces that come out of China. Putting the flaw at the end of precision was your folly sir. Too much coincidence to get past the likes of this forum.

Putting the flaw at the end of precision was your folly sir. Too much coincidence to get past the likes of this forum. Bollocks! The Air-King is no super rep and these pics prove it beyond reasonable doubt (or eyesight). Poppycock! I have yet to see a gen pic reference of the air-king that does not have the spec of "misplaced" paint. I'll take your photo to the Mall tomorrow and compare. The Brendle's GM is typically helpful w all my rep questions. I'm sure this will get sorted and your faith in Chinese ingenuity and attention to detail will be restored.
