'Autentic' Tag Heuer on the 'bay

Recommended Posts

austinsom

Hi all,

First post for me here, and whilst I'd normally introduce myself in the noob section, I spotted this:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161188492178?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_sacat%3D0%26_from%3DR40%26_nkw%3D161188492178%26_rdc%3D1

It just doesn't look right to me. Seems to be a 2000, but the hands and bracelet look plain wrong. On second look the case back looks off too. What do you guys think?

Now I think I will go and introduce myself properly!

The sellers eBay name probably is an indication as to where it came from!

Currently, there are 23 bidders on this ... watch? and the price is at £73.00. I wouldn't pay .73p for it...

but with 6 hours to go, looks like some shmuck is going to be the proud new owner of this wrist turd.

Thanks for the input guys - I am still at the stage where I wanted to double check. I was almost certain it was a bad rep.

The last time I had a watch with the 'folded' steel band was when I bought a 'Constant' from Argos. After trying to adjust that thing, I vowed never again!

Just checked the bay, and the auction has gone! It seems they do react pretty quickly to these reports, which is always good.
