Polishing when under alcoholic influence.

Hey guys. I bought an IWC buckle from WI that _was_ gold plated. It was a mistake because I asked for normal SS but didn't want to send it back and wait for a new one... So I had 3 options:

1) Go to a jeweler and ask for polishing / gp removal

2) Muratic Acid and Hydrogen Peroxide

3) Get a dremel and polish the buckle... how hard can it be?

Well, I went for option #3. Bought a dremel yesterday and since it's Saturday night, went to get few too many beers. Returned home at about 5am slightly (very) drunk and the first idea that popped into my mind was something like "let me polish the shit out of that buckle". Well... the results are, let's say, dramatic. And believe me.. it looks WAY better photographed.

Enjoy:
