Call me paranoid which has kept me out of harms way a good many years but my watches will never be stored and displayed where a thief can simply drop the entire collection into the pillow case off my bed and walk away - NO SIR! cogwatch 1 Posted March 21, 2014 Great boxes guys... lovely displays I like it. Cool design!!! But......a lot of wasted space. I need maximum space utilization to fit my ridiculous number of watches. I was thinking if I rebuilt my partitions and reduced each space in my watch drawer by 1/4", I could get another column and 5 more watches in the same drawer . It was too primitive But better than an un-partitioned drawer. I didn't want anyone to feel ill and it certainly doesn't do my watches justice. I will have better watch accommodations one day, but for now I am more interested in watches, books and tools. You have an amazing collection and a lovely display. dnrc 0 Posted March 28, 2014 Thanks Pseudonym!! And for anyone wondering if I really wear that many watches, in fact I do. I use random.org to generate a 1 to 50 random wear order. My random number wear order idea has a number of positive elements. None of that morning stress standing there in front of my watches debating which one to wear. And it helps me to not just stick with my absolute favorites but to wear all of my watches. I'm always happy when I put on the next watch on the list instead of always one of the top favorites as I like all the watches I have and enjoy wearing them once I put them on. And the top favorites still get extra time in the rotation as I'll wear them outside the list when I change to a different watch in the evening, or wear more than one on a weekend day. My current random wear list is below. If you have a lot of watches, you should give it a try!!! This post made me smile Taking eccentricity and geekiness to the next level, respect!
