I visited some family in Dubai last year, and a combination of an Uncles (real) watch collection & cheap fakes in a place know as K-Town, lead me to buy a few from various places! Some where terrible (£20 gold Rolex DJ), some ok (£30-50 patek's & Rolex submariner), some actually really good (£200 Breitling & Hublot)! MY brother & I share about 10 watches between us, never swapping them over too much as to raise suspicion! If people are interested I can get photos up, but I'll play that by ear. I've joined up to further my knowledge, expand my sources of watches, trade info & advice, and generally become more of a watch nut! Looking forward to contributing! I'll be getting back with more as I'm away from home until next weekend, but we (my brother & I) purchased: 1) Cheap gold Rolex DJ (so bad!) 2, 3 & 4) Rose Gold & SS Patek Phillips (not replicas, cheap 'copies') + Slim quartz patek phillip 5) IWC Portofino Skeleton (no date) 6) Gold & Blue Rolex Submariner (cheap, but looks spot on) 7) Green & SS Rolex Submariner (good) 8) Hublot King Diver 4000M (red, cheap) 9) Hublot Big Bang Chrono, Rose Gold (Decent) 10) Breitling Montbrillant SS (Decent) 11) Cartier Ballon Bleu 38mm Quartz (Decent) These are only temp photo's, & I'll update the rest of the watches when I'm home next weekend (with a better camera) Suffice to say, now I know what I'm after, K-town in Dubai is a pretty good place to go!
