Sweet. Never been a fan of the jubilee strap but I am warming to it, especially with these vintage GMTs.

I have that exact watch mate. It's a lovely rep straight out the box. Check first pic on this thread. I got mine from PC but it's the same version as far as I am aware.

Very nice! Has Andrew got them in stock? SS strap wont be the best, but it gives you an excuse to spend more money on some leathery goodness :)

I hear you! I am kind of meh about it in pictures, but once on the wrist it grows on you, it feels kinda great actually. My humble opinion is that it just suits on vintage Datejust's and sub16750 GMTs.

Saw a picture of Paul Newman wearing one on his Daytona in the 70s. Lord knows where he got a 19mm Jubilee from. I guess at the time they were probably easy to get. Anyone??

Well I am a massive fan of plexi so I love it. It's got a lovely dome shape. I can't imagine the 5512 with the modern crystal.

Newman was one classy dude. Jubilee bracelet on his black face 6263 with non 'exotic' dial.

Me too! Love that 5512! What changes do you recon is needed? Saw you said it's good out of the box as is.. but are there any mods you'd like to do?

That looks awsome. But is it possibly mandatory to in fact be Paul Newman to pull it off?

Me personally, I would like the dial and lume vintagized. I have done a bit of vintagizing externally myself with the watch and strap. Subtle bit of work.

Fine...! I'll buy someone else's. Seen an MBW1665 on RWI. Decent price but was getting raped for shipping. OP wanted $40 plus fees, making it $64 for shipping to the UK.... I'll tell the jokes!

:hmm:
