That strap pairs well with the patina on your bronzo. Very Nice!

I'm not into neither PAM subs nor anything but steel - but that Bronzo has a very beautiful patina, admittedly...

I really love the Patina the case looks like it was hammered with tiny hammers and the color is fantastic. Well done

Thanks for the kind words guys. I've owned a lot of watches, but this combo is unique and like nothing else I've worn or even seen. Can't keep my eyes off it

Did you force the patina or is it natural? If you forced it you did a damn good job and I'm curious to know the method.

Eggs or gel bro for the patina I'm guessing. That strap is the bomb though dude.

I used liver of sulfur

Clean the watch head first (lemon juice or tomato ketchup will work). Rinse it off and dry

5 drops of LoS in a small bowl (I used a clear tupperware container) of hot water (the hotter the better I found) - stir it so the solution goes yellow

thread cotton through 2 lugholes, then lower the watch head in for 5 seconds. remove and see if it's a dark as you want it. If not, dip for another few seconds

then immediately dip in a (pre-prepared) coldwater solution of bicarbonate of soda for 3 minutes - this 'fixes' the patina so that it doesn't rub straight off

remove, run under a cold tap for a minute, then leave to dry naturally

then you can polish it with a soft cloth - more rubbing takes off more patina, less rubbing leaves more on

If you don't like the look, immerse the watch head in lemon juice or tomato ketchup again for 5 mins, then rinse and polish with a soft cloth, and it's got zero patina on it again!

Then try again :)

It's actually a lot of fun experimenting

thanks mate. There's more 'give' in it than any of my Gunny straps - it just seems to fit to the wrist far better. Can hardly feel it's on

It's a Malio 'Macchia' strap mate. Similar price to some of my Gunny straps, but feels better on the wrist

Thanks I was gonna let mine develop naturally over time but the results on yours were so nice I'm gonna play around. I mean there really is no reason not to. since it can be restored quickly. I just hadn't seen a forced patina I really liked until yours bro! I Have forced patina's on some knives using apple cider vinegar and other stuff. looks great on steal too if you do it right.

You know I was gonna say it looks like when I take something off the buffing wheel and there is compound left on it in the corners. the buffing with a cloth removing some is the reason. That's why yours looks so natural while a lot of other forced patina's look a little off.
