Cheesemonger 0 Posted August 26, 2014 Not sure if this was posted already, but some bidders really can't read well. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mens-Hublot-Big-Bang-18K-Solid-Rose-Gold-Ceramic-Band-No-Watch-Included-/261573225712?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item3ce6faacf0
black263 228 Posted August 26, 2014 Since there is nothing wrong with the offer, someone is going to have egg on their face when they realise they've bid double the retail price for a strap.

Russ 0 Posted August 26, 2014 How would pay pal react to this ? Surely you'd be stuffed as it quite clearly says no watch No leg to stand on if you tried to open a case Douche bag , this sellers should have his bollox chopped off , really no need to blatantly shaft someone !!! Poolsfinest 1 Posted August 26, 2014 Just don't pay. You are reported as a non paying bidder but that's it. You get 3 strikes I think.
Russ 0 Posted August 26, 2014 Yes but if genuine you'd pay once you'd won the bid It wouldn't be until you open the post and WHAT THE FUCK -NO WATCH X
masmannan 0 Posted August 26, 2014 haha. I'm sorry but I find this amusing. Strap price leaps from $900 to $5k.

Tits McGee 7 Posted August 26, 2014 If you read lower in the EB posting it says "Suggested Retail" of $3990. I'm betting they fat fingered the price.

Russ 0 Posted August 26, 2014 Makes you wonder though, should eBay be doing more to help Buyers from Scams like this
thehardnochlife 0 Posted August 26, 2014 That's no scam. It clearly says no watch included in the title
TheSav 2 Posted August 26, 2014 Makes you wonder though, should eBay be doing more to help Buyers from Scams like this Not really a scam though is it? It does mention more than once that no watch is included. People are either stupid or just don't read. I will say that the title is misleading however. Although in stating the above, if the seller was honest and above board they would remove the add, change the title or reinforce the fact that it is ONLY a strap. thehardnochlife 0 Posted August 26, 2014 As far as I can tell, the seller may be sleazy but not beyond the realm of truth. It's a rose gold ceramic band. Clearly states no watch included.
MikeAlmighty 0 Posted August 26, 2014 Looks like a tire tread strap to me...
FuzzyCoyote 2 Posted August 26, 2014 It's like in exams when the teacher told you to read the whole question before answering..... To be fair, it's clear as day that it is the band only so it's ok the buyer I'm afraid. Lol.
cnwh 0 Posted August 27, 2014 I think the bidders are just a sham.

JohnG 41 Posted August 27, 2014 Just don't pay. Yup. They can't do shit. If the seller doesn't strike those bids he is an ass himself and deserves a no-pay. At a minimum he should contact buyer and say, "are you SURE you want to bid that high" - if for no other reason than to have to relist it. If he doesn't, it suggests he realizes someone is confused and is hoping he can get them to pay. Good luck with that. .
