Shaqv2 0 Posted September 27, 2014 I bought a Rodina, which was the only available option for a Nomos look alike. Watch keeps good time, but the rep strap was really crappy. Recently sourced a Stowa strap as replacement. Much better feel on the wrist now. Pics below:
GoW13 19 Posted September 28, 2014 Nice watch! I have the same And if you are not completely satisfied with your strap, try one of these: http://www.ebay.de/itm/NEU-VELOUR-UHRBAND-18-20mm-weich-und-anschmiegsam-HANDGEMACHT-IN-DEUTSCHLAND-/350804859982?pt=DE_Mode_Accessoires_Uhren_Schmuck_Uhrenarmbänder&var=&hash=item51ad995c4e Especially the "sand" color fits the watch perfectly! ellistyle1 0 Posted September 28, 2014 The oem nomos straps are super high quality and are about $100. Looks good
Mikrotsutsunos 1 Posted September 28, 2014 Interesting pic! Watches are not frequently pictured from this perspective.

Damn it!!! I was looking for a velour strap before I settled on Stowa. Would've preferred a slightly lighter color like nomos though. Nice watch! dumaz 0 Posted October 22, 2014 Hello Shaqv2, from which TD did you purchased your Rodina?
Wriggles 12 Posted October 22, 2014 Not sure if TD's stock then, they're not reps. Can get them on Aliexpress, ebay, various other places that google will provide for you. I got mine from good-stuffs.com
dumaz 0 Posted October 22, 2014 Thanks, Imibcn, i'm already digging these sources, looking for best way to solve custom declaration issues.
Wriggles 12 Posted October 22, 2014 Don't see what customs issues there should be, they're low value so taxes and duties shouldn't be huge, not reps so no danger of seizure

Ephry73 5 Posted May 21, 2015 I have to bump this up. I am looking for one of these for myself and my father in-law. How is the water resistance on these? I have to ask because the man is rough on watches. I wanted something classy and elegant that he could beat up and not worry about. Thanks guys. E
GoW13 19 Posted May 21, 2015 Then the watch is a no no for your father! Besides the WR, it´s not a very durable watch, it´s a DRESS watch. He´d be better of with a seiko o something like that
Ephry73 5 Posted May 21, 2015 I know brother. He had a 6309 Military (not the turtle) and ruined it For a dress watch I wanted something he wouldn't kill right away.
GoW13 19 Posted May 21, 2015 Hmm... The watch is polished, so it gets scratches pretty quick. I would get him something different, maybe some dressy seiko?!
Ephry73 5 Posted May 21, 2015 I was thinking about that, or possibly grabbing one of these Rodinas cheap and modifying it a bit. He likes Quartz also, so... Thanks again guys. I think I'M getting one for myself though E
