Thrichar 47 Posted November 17, 2014 Now I'm a fan of Worn and Wound. Cool website and some really interesting watches. Just purchased a Sinn 556 (incoming) and am looking for a strap for it, as I like to swap out the bracelet when the mood strikes me. W&W have an awesome option for the 556. A charcoal horween leather: http://shop.wornandwound.com/collections/straps/products/model-1-horween-coal Looks great, so was happy to pay the $89. Went to check out and the postage to Australia was forty five fucking dollars! In what world does it cost $45 to post something that weighs 20g?! Ah well, the price I pay for living in Australia!! Bncrpt 1 Posted November 17, 2014 Hahahaha geezus mate that's a little exorbitant lol Postage does seem to be a hit and miss thing these days getting anything here to Oz hey...some places charge next to nothing...next thing you order and the price is almost as much as the item!!! ShovelnTC 31 Posted November 17, 2014 A lot of traders will only use premium postage services in order to keep the items traceable, if that's not the reason then stuff dealing with em.
TheInthusiest 0 Posted November 17, 2014 (edited) Stop what you're doing and send Phizzy a PM. He made me this custom strap for my Pam 390 for less than half the price of the W&W strap u linked. I'm awaiting for it in the post. Edited November 17, 2014 by TheInthusiest

Dr. Jimmy 29 Posted November 17, 2014 I buy most of my straps from here: http://www.watch-band-center.com/ I'm not a strap snob, so some of you guys may turn your nose up at them because they're not handmade by some guy charging outrageous prices. I've found their straps to be excellent quality, reasonably priced, and their shipping is fast and cheap. Here's one I just got last week for my O.M. 5mm thick, beautifully made, cost me €30 + €3 shipping, and they take PayPal.

drrod 0 Posted November 20, 2014 I think a lot of vendors use low prices for their product and recapture the margin on the ifamous "shipping and handling". Rod
