NEW WEEK WRIST CHECK - 24th November 2014

Recommended Posts

It's both PAMSDAY and Thanksgiving Day. I wish you all the very best good wishes for today; I personally am eternally grateful to still be on this side of the grass (as my oldest brother told me while I was in the critical Intensive Care Unit after my brain surgery); I'm also thankful for the wonderful wife I married 41 years ago, and for the many friends and all on this and other watch forums.

Today: PAM 005. Easy to read, comfy, stylish in a simple way; just can't beat Pams. dave:

Best to you and you family. My you stay on this side of the grass for many years to come.

Saturday sees the wearing of this Stuhrling Original "Professional Diver" on black nato I purchased earlier in the year & last worn late April/early May. Pretty "nifty" quartz watch, interesting dial, decent weight & decent cyclops over the date window. "Professional Diver?" I don't think so: it has no screw down crown & a depth rating of about 100 m. Still, it's a very interesting piece. dave:

I like that fact that my PAM really glows like a sun. My dial has visible glow after hours and hours of darkness... That relume has a brightness rating of approximately 33,000 immediately after charge, 945 at 10 minutes, and 126 at 60 minutes. It continues to be visible by the human eye more than 24 hours after the initial charge. So it's really bright. :D
