44mm v 40mm PAM

Recommended Posts

Wilk1015

Hey guys I have been researching like crazy and decided on a PAM for my first rep. I am currently looking at a PAM 112. I have relatively small wrist (6.75in) and am a little worried that the 44mm will wear too big. I currently wear a 43mm watch but it is slim and the crown is not nearly as pronounced as the PAMs. I am now considering a 40mm because of the thickness and crown guard on PAMs, although the PAM bible says the case quality on the 40mm isn't as good. Any thoughts?

Get a 44mm. They don't wear big.

At 6,75" you're fine with a 44mm, 40 is too small..

I was gonna buy one last weekend, a mm194 40mm from jackson, cheap as cucumber £52 delivered, JUST BECAUSE I SEEN YOUR PICTURE, emailed Jackson, he told me they don't come with deployment anymore, just an aftermarket buckle, nothing to do with the deployment, somehow changed my mind.

YOUR BEAUTIFUL PICTURES CAUSING PROBLEM :lmao: (especially when they are at wrong place)

Wilk, I also have a 6.75" wrist (although I've been told I'm still a man), and was also unsure about a 44mm- my first rep was a 40mm from WI, but I can hardly look at it now. The simple fact is 40mm replicas aren't the quality of the 44mm and other larger sizes. It takes some getting used to but as other responders have said, it becomes a look of its own and the super reps have the quality feel of a fine watch- at the highest level they are fine watches. A Radiomir lacks the crown guard so visually it will appear less massive. I'm extremely comfortable and pleased these days alternating between a 505 and 299. You must read ALE's extraordinary guide (it's just a great read, period) if you are going to spend a fair amount, and to determine the quality of particular models.

I have a 6.75in wrists too:

44mm - perfect

45mm Radiomir - perfect

47mm - slightly too big, but not ludicrous

New 42mm should be great too.
