bushwacka 0 Posted January 2, 2018 Excellent information! Although it's missing the A2892, is there any general conensus about the reliabilty or flaws of this movement?
ashtonchan 0 Posted January 11, 2018 Very useful info indeed. Coming from a watchmaker with first hand experience, erases all your doubts. Thank you.
GenTLe 1,485 Posted January 11, 2018 Excellent information! Although it's missing the A2892, is there any general conensus about the reliabilty or flaws of this movement? It is a bit more expensive of the a2824 or a2836, but it is a good movement, very thin and with a ultrasmooth manual winding. I personally like it even it is a bit more complex to service than the other

the_datta 0 Posted January 15, 2018 (edited) Is the sh3135 movement a relatively easy service for you as well? Or even formother WM? Edited January 15, 2018 by the_datta

There's a great post in the Watch Repair section of the forum about it, you should check it out, a bit long but with a ton of info in it, especially on the last pages

Scosta 0 Posted June 6, 2018 Is there any master document on pro cons for each manufacturer or does it vary depending on batch and specific model?

You'll not find a master document on each of them, first because we don't know each of them very well and it's very model specific (not so much batch specific, but mistakes can happen on a batch and be pointed by members or TD)

Ohana 0 Posted July 21, 2018 hi fellows, I'm a very new member, and with help from this site I've bought a few nice reps, with movements talked about by Alex, and thanks Alex for posting such valuable info. I am now keen to have my new reps serviced by a competent watchmaker. My question is this. I live in South East Queensland, Australia, and I'm wondering if there may be other Aussies on this forum who may have used a reputable and reliable watchmaker who lives in this region, and willing to make a recommendation to me. Thanks in advance. cheers Ian
Chixisigma 461 Posted July 21, 2018 Great Q. @Ohana. That answer has eluded me so far. Maybe you'll be more fortunate... Chi
