Who's designing Fossil watches these days?

Recommended Posts

Just been in a fossil watch shop and they have got some really cool watches, also they sell various straps so you can interchange them. Very impressed.

Check out the Fossil web site. Obviously it is each to their own but thought they had some nice watches and was specially impressed with the strap selection, leather, nato, bund etc..

Agreed. A few nice designs but still a lot of derivative stuff as well.

Nice prices on all. Never really paid attention to them before but will look closer next time

local bargain retailer had a ch2915 for $80... should have bought it. spent a bit more and grabbed a similar looking Seiko instead.

I always though of them as a bit dull, but I have to agree with greg, lately there are plenty of interesting pieces. Maybe they have hired a new designer supervisor or feel the need to drive the brand image a bit higher.

Those derivative designs really piss me off. Why can't they do something original?

I will show myself to the exit. I do think Fossil is hitting it out of the park lately. They even have a few automatics. As much as watch people criticize Fossil, I bet their QC and build quality is far better than what we deal with in our hobby.

They've also bought the zodiac brand I believe. Which I'll be interested to sea the new sea wolf when it comes out.

They have indeed. Saw an article somewhere online about the new sea wolf. Looked interesting

Speaking of companies that thrive on copying others' designs, check this one out:
