stu7sinc 0 Posted May 6, 2016 This is my first attempt at a review so here goes. The watch is a ZF Best edition Tudor Heritage Black Bay Blue purchased from Amanda at Kuvarsit. Firstly I have to say that dealing with Amanda is a joy. I have posted a separate review of my experience in her feedback section. Here is the link to the watch I purchased. http://www.kuvarsitwatch.co/tudor/best-edition-tudor-heritage-black-bay-ss-ss-blue-bezel-black-dial.a2824.-from-zf/ There are other reviews and I think the general feeling is that the Tudor BB is one of the best out of the box reps. I would agree with this as my brother has a genuine version and by comparing them side by side, the only thing I could see were some tiny differences. Nothing that would give away the rep version without knowing in advance what one was the gen. The movement is the A2824-2. A gentle shake is all it takes to get it going. The second hand moves smoothly and so far it keeps excellent time. Once off of my wrist it runs for around 2 full days before stopping so power reserve seems perfect. The movement feels nice and smooth when setting the time. All of the markers on the dial are crisp, clean, and line up perfectly. The bezel rotates nicely. It's is firm with no wobble or looseness and the clicks are crisp. The lume looks good to me. I have seen comments about bad lume on these but I am very happy with mine. Hopefully this can be seen in my pictures. I can't see any issues with the casework. To me the whole watch looks and feels very genuine. The SS band that comes with the watch is also very good. The ceramic bearings look perfect, it has a good weight in it and the screws seem to be crisp and clean. I did remove the SS band as soon as I got the watch. I just prefer it on leather. I actually first ordered and received a red V4 from Trusty. I was searching for a genuine leather band and deployment for it. Eventually giving up because very few came up and all were over priced. So I ordered a Nero strap and rep deployment for it. Then spotted someone selling a gen blue strap and deployment on the Bay for a too low $200. I snapped it up planning to use the deployment and pass on the strap. I didn't really gel with the red, and only ordered the blue because I had the gen strap. It has turned into a favorite and the red has since been passed on to a new owner. Here are some pictures of the watch on the genuine blue strap. This shot shows a common complaint about the genuine strap and its stitching coming loose. I think it still looks great, but can see it wont age well. Worth thinking about before shelling out the $400 that seems to be the asking price for a genuine strap. Some pics of the SS bracelet that comes with the watch. Some pictures of the amazing Nero Strap that Forrest made for me. Since I bought this for the red, and it is gone, I was going to pass the strap on also. But after taking the pictures, I decided to try it on the blue. Turns out, I really like it. It is a much higher quality than the gen. My only issue is it is a fraction too thick for the rep deployment. It fits and looks great but just makes the deployment tight taking it off. Not enough of an issue to prevent me from enjoying it. The rep deployment was bought from csfcompany on eBay. It's marked as unbranded but you get a branded item. The quality when compared to the genuine is stunning. The only difference I can see is that the point in the w shape line above Tudor is not as sharp as the gen. I'm surprised how much I like this on the Nero strap. In summary. I feel it's an amazing rep, and am going to enjoy wearing it. If I was going to get anything on the watch upgraded, it would be the pearl on the bezel. If I found someone able to stick a genuine pearl on it for a reasonable cost, then it would be worth considering. If the movement fails in the future and can't be fixed with a simple service the rest of the watch is in my opinion good enough to justify swapping out the A2824-2 for a gen ETA. But that's it. Right now, I think it's perfect. Thanks for reading. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

MAJ75 920 Posted May 6, 2016 Thoroughly enjoyed reading the review & looking through the pictures, excellent job mate. It's a super piece & the blue bezel looks good on you. I think the BB needs a space in most peoples boxes.
splke 4,244 Posted May 6, 2016 Good review man and I also think you are right about the nero strap better quality and actually looks better than the rep
Gooner67 19 Posted May 13, 2016 Great review little brother, and I can confirm these are brilliant reps. I have the gen blue and just got a gen strap for my rep red which is now being worn more than the blue......crazy isn't it. Here are a couple of pics of the two. Keep the reviews coming @stu7sinc. Pinnicca 0 Posted February 12, 2017 Watch looks amazing! Does the blue dial look as matte in person as it does in the pictures, I've only tried on the genuine blue bezel once and I don't really remember the gloossy effect some people are talking about. I know the red is probably more accurate, but does the blue look that different? Thanks!!
